Hats off to Fine Living Network for airing the run-off between Iron Chef Chen Kenichi and challenger Liang Shuqing last night.
In Battle Konnyaku (a weird jelly-like substance made from the konnyaku potato), Liang trounced Chen fairly handily, but to the end I was expecting some kind of weird twist to hand it to the Iron Chef.
I guess the weirdest twist was choosing konnyaku as the secret ingredient for a battle between Chinese chefs.
