Ever imbibed a Stinger, a Rob Roy, a Bronx, a Black Velvet or a Hot Toddy?
I confess to having taken to hot toddies as a 20-30something everytime I’d come down with a cold, but nowadays, I just use vodka on the rocks to knock me out.
However, the other four drinks are mysteries to me, and I’m in no hurry to sample any of them. (I’m really into the pure taste of unblended liquors in my old age, though the Mojito is certainly a summertime pleasure.)
Anyway, a couple of doofae over at MSN City Guides, with nothing better to write about, think these five deserve a comeback, but if they were never popular in our lifetimes, it seems unlikely that they’ll make a comeback.
What next, the Edsel?
