Pimm’s: How Did I Ever Forget Pimm’s?

I was too hasty recently when I proclaimed the [tag]Mojito[/tag] the best drink of summer. Agreed, it certainly is refreshing, and the rum inside will get you high in nothing flat, leading to a nice little siesta around the swimming pool. However, an article in the Wall Street Journal about [tag]Pimm’s[/tag] brought back memories of lazy afternoons in Singapore when I was on R&R from the Navy in Vietnam.
There was nothing more refreshing or uplifting than a Pimm’s Cup, which is basically two parts Pimm’s (made of Gin and other ingredients) and four parts of a lemon-y soda like Sprite, garnished with lemon slices, cucumber pieces, and some borage. To be honest, I’m not sure what borage is and I don’t recall that any Pimm’s Cup I ever consumed had any strange vegetables in it. I remember only the zestiness and refreshing taste of the concoction.
Now, since I haven’t had a Pimm’s in decades, I’m going to spend the next week or two scouring the liquor stores and bars to see if anyone carries this stuff. Enquiring minds have to know–and summery thirsts have to be quenched.

Would like to know where to buy Pimm’s in California. Trader Joe’s does not carry it.
I bought it at BevMo (Beverages & More).
