Your Last Meal: Steak?

I’ve never understood the fascination with steak. Every bite basically tastes the same, doesn’t it? But somehow steak and potatoes always comes out as a condemned man’s last meal.
The potatoes are fine, but chewing red meat over and over again is not my idea of a perfect meal even though I have no philosophical or taste problems with steak or protein.
I’m not sure what I’d choose for my last meal, but it would probably be oysters and a perfect bottle of Sancerre wine. Throw in a delicate salad with some kind of tasty vinaigrette, and you’re talking heaven here.
That being said, I may eat this perfect meal once or twice a year even though I certainly could indulge in it more often.
Let’s hear from you. What would your last meal be if you knew the date of your demise?
Last question:Â What does your choice of a “last meal” say about you?
