Here come complete meals from [tag]Kraft[/tag] in the form of prepackaged salads, treats and sandwiches.
What’s happening?
It appears that the Kraft brands mentioned above–and others–are losing market share, and parent company Altria Group has decided to spin Kraft off as an independent.
The new offerings come courtesy of CEO-since-June Irene Rosenfeld who says she wants the company to produce items that consumers want rather than what the different divisions want.
Watch for ready-to-eat Jell-O with fruit pieces in it, for instance, along with deli sandwiches ready for the microwave.
I guess that’s what consumers want.
