Won Ton Ravioli

Posted on February 18, 2007

This is where [tag]Rachael Ray[/tag] and [tag]Sandra Lee[/tag] of Food Network come in handy–when you need down-and-dirty recipes.

I picked up some won ton wrappers at an Asian food fare the other day in hopes of making some crabmeat ravioli, but before I could, my Chinese wife decided–this being the start of Chinese New Year’s–to make egg rolls with the won tons.

Anyway, my loss turned out to be my gain, as I used my blog’s recipe search function to find won ton ravioli recipes, and thanks to the aforementioned Food TV chefs, was able to concoct a crabmeat-bell pepper-onion formula for inside the wrappers that I will now attempt.  Once I buy some more wrappers, that is.

Anyway, when the chefs on TV stick to cooking in ways we can adopt, they’re a great benefit, but when their goal is showmanship, well, forget it, Emeril.
